Centre for Disability Law and Policy launches The Right To Act Campaign

The Centre for Disability Law and Policy at NUI Galway, as co-ordinator of the EU PERSON project, has today launched a campaign to push governments, private entities and individuals to implement Article 12 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

USICD’s Youth in International Development and Foreign Affairs Intern Biographies 2015
May 20, 2015
On May 24, interns will arrive to Washington DC and settle in at George Washington University’s dormitory for an eight-week long internship at various international NGOs based in the DC area and the Department of State. Before beginning work at their posts, they will participate in a week-long orientation program. Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation has generously funded USICD’s Youth in International Development and Foreign Affairs internship program for the last three years, offering opportunities to youth with disabilities from across the United States who are interested in careers in the fields of international development or foreign affairs.
